Questions: admin@wjchbaseball.com
Welcome to WJ Copper Hills Baseball! We are excited for the 2026 season. We have many dedicated volunteers that are here to make this season a success. Please remember that our Board Members, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Parent & Team Scorekeepers are all volunteers giving their time for the benefit of our children. We are open to suggestions and would like to keep a positive atmosphere at the baseball field. All Board Members have baseball email addresses, which can be found on the website. Please direct any necessary communication via email. The season (game schedule) will start on Monday, April 6th. Please read through this welcome packet as it contains important information and dates to remember (last page).
Sportsmanship
“Conduct and attitude considered as befitting participants in sports; especially fair play, courtesy, striving spirit, and grace in losing."
Umpire Etiquette
As spectators of the baseball game, we want to have our players have a positive experience on and off the field. Sometimes umpires make a call we don’t agree with. If you disagree with a call, please do not badger the umpire or coaching staff, as this just makes your child uncomfortable and usually does not solve the problem. The umpire has the last word on all calls. If you disagree with the umpire, you may email your concerns to your Division Commissioner, and they will be addressed as needed. We want the kids to learn that the umpire does not win or lose games for any team. We ask for your help with this, to see that each team has a positive experience, and that the parents and spectators set an example for our children. If you have questions, please email the Umpire Coordinator at umpires@wjchbaseball.com
Try-Outs: Monday, March 2nd (evening)
Divisions PeeWee 8 through Prep 13U only. Location and Division specific times will be communicated via email.
Players need to arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Please wear tennis shoes (if indoors) or cleats (if outdoors) and bring your baseball glove. Bats are optional. Parents are not allowed to attend tryouts with their player; but are welcome to wait outside the facility where tryouts are being held.
Field Clean-up Day: Saturday, March 21st or 28th
Please come help us prepare the fields for the season. We need everyone to pitch in! Coaches should not schedule practice during this time. Please bring your gloves, rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows. This is a great time to bring our players out to teach them about taking care of the fields where they play.
Pants & Used Player Equipment Exchange Day: Saturday, March 21st or 28th
We will be exchanging uniform pants during this time. If your player’s pants do not fit, you can exchange them on this day for the right size. Please direct questions regarding Pant Exchange Day to uniforms@wjchbaseball.com.
If you have equipment such as baseball gloves, cleats, batting gloves, etc. that do not fit, or you do not use, please bring them to the fields by 9:00 a.m. on Exchange Day to donate. We will have the table open during Field Clean-up for those who wish to participate. This is an optional event and there may not be anything available in the sizes you need. Any equipment left at the fields will be donated. Please direct questions regarding Used Player Equipment Exchange Day to admin@wjchbaseball.com.

Please do not park in no parking zones such as; emergency lanes, along/in the roadway, or next to landscaping islands in the parking lots. Designated parking stalls must be utilized. This is for the safety of our players and families. The league has three League Official parking stalls, Snack Bar and Umpire stalls. These are reserved for the League Officials on duty and State Umpires. Please do not park in these stalls or you will be towed. The road in and out of the park needs to be kept clear for traffic to flow both ways all night; this will allow EMERGENCY VEHICLES to get in and out.
